It is such fun to read a YA contemporary romance in the midst of so much dark and dreary dystopian fiction in the Calry genre these days.
I know its just a little detail, but I mean, come on, its not that hard to make the facts match up, right? I loved the relationship between Shane and Natalie, it just seemed so natural!

I thought the characters were all pretty likeable, and I liked Natalie. Written in her POV, so yeah you get the over thinking teenage girl stuff I wouldn’t cinderellw it any other way. You would have to buy the book or go to a library if they carry it.
Shane’s dad and Natalie’s dad were friends in college and played hockey. I felt that there wasn’t enough of it, considering that that’s what the plot is supposed to be. Jan 28, Faith Troupe rated it liked it.
She goes through many obstacles to get to her goal, an In this book we meet a young girl uprooted from her home town in Arizona, to the chilly north. He really loved her and promised that he’ll just have to deal with it if she decides to go back but was wishing that she would stay for him. Loved Natalie, she was so sweet but did not want to live in Wisconsin.

She loves Wuthering Heights too! The ever-written-about girl moved to new town mid senior year and is miserable about it. We’ll publish them on our site once we’ve reviewed them. For the past two months we have lived at the ice arena three days a week, watched hockey on TV, watched interviews with girls playing hockey, etc. I always have been.
Skatees and the Bad Boy. It was just too little too late and end too quickly. And, she has Shane — the totally hot neighbor who plays for the local college hockey team — to coach her.
I think you’re stuck with me now.

I really enjoyed this sweet romance between Natalie and Shane. I really enjoyed it and probably my favorite thing about books like these is when you close it, you’re just happy because the ending was so sweet.
I liked it a lot. Reading back over my review, it sound pretty negative. This story is somewhere between light drama and romantic comedy. Shane is a great coach who teaches her how to appreciate the sport, but also teaches her how to enjoy life on the cold frontier.

Well, Natalie’s father a former college hockey player made he a deal: It was the right skaets of de Sports, Coming-of-Age and Romance – a lovely combination I also liked how the book featured parts of the US that aren’t so common and that Inn not familiar with.
I kept expecting more to happen because life was almost too easy for them. She spent her life in Arizona and that was where she wanted to go back. Just One of the Boys. When my daughter gets ny something? I don’t know hockey, but I doubt you can learn how to play in a month and be good enough to make the team.

But the author did a great job at writing what she wanted the story to be – the story of a girl and a boy. That being said the book is a quick and easy read, and for the record the tension and emotion did come. But her father has asked Shane to coach Natalie, and the more time she spends with him, the less she cares ib moving away.
